Javea
Xàbia, better known in Spain as Jávea. It is located in the attractive yet not completely sheltered part of Alicante. Jávea is built around a Gothic fortified church from the fourteenth century. The city has grown considerably in recent decades by expanding with modern hotels and a large marina. Jávea has never lost its Mediterranean atmosphere and appearance over the years. Nature thus plays a major role in the town. The beach of the sandbank is one of the most visited of the Costa Blanca. The old city center also has a lot to offer. Especially the Gothic medieval buildings and the more modern architectural styles from the eighteenth century are fascinating to see.
